Dear Debi,

My sister and I were very pleased to receive your notice that our aunt Miriam's Medicaid application was approved. You were extremely helpful to us in the processing and forwarding of this application. We are both very grateful to you for all of your efforts and for your assistance in carrying the procedure through for us.

We're glad to report that Miriam continues to be in good health and spirits. She is comfortably settled at HRCA and she celebrated her 99th birthday last month!

Many thanks again for all your advice and help.

Sincerely,

Julian B. Fleischman

Dear Ms. Gramoline,

My wife, who is Virginia Bloom's sister, and I want you to know how very pleased we are with the high quality of caring service that Sherrill House provides for its residents. We feel so fortunate, as does Virginia, that in her time of great need she was admitted and is being cared for by the excellent staff on the 4th floor. We will continue to maintain close contact through our Cambridge daughter and during trips to Boston that we make to visit her.

Also I want to commend Sherrill House for making Medi-Services available for needy residents. Although I was in Boston twice during this period, I would have struggled, here in Kansas, putting all the required documentation together without the professional guidance of Rae Woodford. She was a much needed great help.

Sincerely,

John & Carol B. Chalmers

Dear Rick,

I cant say enough about Debi Young who helped me so capably and kindly through the process. She was so efficent throughout what is a scary ordeal for older people.

Thank you so much for providing the wonderful service.

Sincerely,

Virginia Belcher

Dear Mr. Weisberg,

This is just a brief note to express my appreciation and admiration of Debi Young. My 95 year old Mother moved to Boston nine months ago from Connecticut to reside near me at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. I knew at that time that her remaining assets would provide for about six months of care and understood that a complicated process awaited me to apply for Masshealth benefits. HRCA assigned mother's case to Debi Young. At the beginning of the process a staff member in the financial services area told me that I was in good hands - that Debbie was very experienced, and a real pro! How right they were.

I had kept meticulous financial records from the time my Father died but had no idea what would be required to compile all that was necessary for approval. Debi looked over all of our information and indicated whatever was missing or needed, always with confidence and clarity. She was responsive to all of my questions, with a wonderful demeanor. Last week we heard from the Division of Medical Assistance that Mother's application was approved. I feel so fortunate that Debi Young was my representative. In our last conversation I asked her to whom I could write to express my appreciation for all of her efforts and she gave me your name. All I can say is that she is terrific.

Sincerely,

Rosalie K. Snyder
